A generously proportioned later Regency rosewood period four drawer library table in the manner of William Smee , Moorfields, London 1817-1851 The top cross-banded in rosewood and encloses a faded black tooled hide. Below, the four drawers feature a central honeysuckle carved motif and are fitted with the original twin-mortice locks. The shaped end-supports having bold turned paterae and turned bun feet all connected by a turned rosewood stretcher. Good original condition throughout.
