A George III period mahogany chest of serpentine form with canted corners and shaped sides in the manner of Gillows. The moulded top with fitted drawer below, comprising a felt lined slide with lifting adjustable writing slope. Three further drawers below ending on shaped bracket feet. Good original condition throughout ,the  ring handles partially replaced with matching period fitments.
